An Evening with Alex Dowsett

This week we, along side campaign sponser NFP, and Squire Patton Boggs, were very pleased to host an evening with Alex Dowsett. The former hour record holder, 2 time Giro d’Italia stage winner and a six-time British time trial champion shared stories and insights from his time as a professional cyclist. He talked very candidly about the ups and downs, giving us a behind the scenes look at the pro cycling industry, often warts and all!

Alex also went on to discuss the personal challenges he has faced as one of the few professional athletes with haemophilia and the inspiring work he has done with his charity Little Bleeders who support and provide grants to young haemophiliacs who want to take part in sport and mobile activities.

Alex was extremely engaging, warm, and an all-round good egg!
