Meet Bruno

To mark our first anniversary we ask the team members who make More Than A Cyclist tick their thoughts and reflections on the last 12 months.

"Hi I’m Bruno, I am part of the organising committee for More Than A Cyclist. Although a lot has been achieved in the last twelve months not a lot has changed. The amendments to the Highway Code weren’t communicated to the driving public so still every time I ride out with mates I get shouted out, abused, or cut up (sometimes on purpose). Just for riding my bike! What have I done wrong? The campaign needs to have a further reach so that car drivers don’t see me as a nuisance, they don’t see me as Bruno - Ollie’s dad, Rach's husband, Paul’s brother and Margaret and Keith’s son. We need to talk about Bruno . Please help spread the message. - cyclists are people too."
